Hi I am Penelope aka (pocket rocket) I was rescued by my mom in Feb 2015 from the SPCA. I am now 2 years old. My mom doesn't know much about my past. Only I was In 2 foster homes and then back at the SPCA. When my mommy picked me up I was only 4 1/2 months old.
Hi my name is Wilbur. My story is a Lil sad. I wasn't abused or miss treated in any way. My first mommy's mom ( my grandma) got sick, stage 4 cancer. So my mommy had to make a hard choice to be able to care for her mommy. So my new mommy came and took me to my new home May 24. Sadly my mommy told me that my grandma is in a better place now.
Hi my name is Boo. My parents rescued me 3 yrs ago may. My first mommy didn't know how to take care of me...she fed me Cesar salad dressing and all, lots of bad people food, and lasagna. Also she wasn't zoned for me. When ever the landlord would come over they put me into the back of the truck in no crate...I ended up with a limp. I was 7 months old when I got rescued weighing over 150lbs. My belly had sores on it from dragging on the ground and stepping on it. My new mommy put me on a great diet (pic of me eating my new food in comments) I lost weight and now I feel great.

I'm neutered and a very well behaved little guy if I don't say so myself. One day my mom brought home some sheep she slowly over time introduced us together but I didn't get along with the sheep. So mom had to find me a place to live where someone wouldn't put me with sheep or eat me ( eekk ). Luckily my mom found Star's Piggly Wiggly's Sanctuary and now I'm safe an my mom doesn't have to worry about me.

Hey Thumper here .My first mom was diagnosed with bone cancer. She was trying to sell us, but there was 3 of us left. Our first mom was in and out of the hospital too much. She decided to reach out to Stars Piggly Wigglys Sanctuary. They talked for about 4 days and they agreed on letting us go as rescues. Our one brother Snickers had a home to go to but they backed out the night before us leaving to our new home at the sanctuary. Faith at the sanctuary agreed to take him as well. Fortunately, she had a home for him. So about 2 weeks after we came to the sanctuary we got neutered. So far only Hubba Bubba likes to be touched. (we are very unsure) Thumper will come for snacks and sits pretty for them. Here at the sanctuary we are going to be loved forever

An my family needed to find me a new home where I would be taken care of by someone who know's allot about pig's. My family found Star's Piggly Wigglys Sanctuary and let them know about my situation and now I'm here safe and sound at the rescue. I enjoy all the new piggy friends here at the rescue I'm fitting great with everyone, I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful family both new, and old thank you all :)

He will live his life at our sanctuary. They will come visit after the baby is born to check on him and show him the baby.

Moo is 3.5 yrs old female pot belly pig. First owners dogs attacked her and injured her so she is missing part of her ear. She came to live with her second mom who moved her out side .In time she just didn't have time for her. An has decided to place her here at the sanctuary.

I was adopted out two years ago but unfortunately my mom had to have surgery and was not able to care for me. As you can see I'm a little bit in the plump side my mom really loved me. I guess I got a little bit too much food.

Karl came to us with his brother Kiwi as a result in the wildfire in Falkland this summer. The parents recently just rescued them as well. they felt they would be better off here in a stable home.
