My name is Erman my start in life was ruff luckily my second home saved me 2 years ago from being shot. She told me that when the gun went off the bullet ricocheted and I ran. On top of that my brother and I were attacked by dogs. Well I was well loved by my rescue mom for the past 2 years. Sadly they lost their farm and  needed to find a good home for me. She was directed to stars piggly wigglys sanctuary. An now my new mom loves me and I'm at my forever home.

Hi I'm Elliott I came from a loving home that I had been in for 6 months. My owner is a kind lady who always took care of me so much so that I'm kinda fat lol. It's not my mom's fault she wasn't properly informed about piggy feed and diet's. When mom got me she was never told that I don't do well around kid's, I'm nervous around children to the point I nip at them, unsure how to get them to leave me alone. My mom has kid's and they are scared of me so much so I needed to find a new home and that's when my mom found this place for me. Now I'm at the Sanctuary and enjoying life with they other piggy's here. I'm getting lot's of love and there aren't any children here for me to be scared of maybe someday I can get used to kid's some day . i came here in 2017 Dob June 25 2015 - Feb 8 20

With a heavy heart an tears flowing I have let you all know we lost Precilla today after a battle with her pancreas acting up again this year. About a year an a half ago it was discovered that she had two fossilized babies in her womb. She went through a surgery to remove them both where we almost lost her but she over come the odds that had already stacked against her. But unfortunately this year her pancreas acted up again it hit her hard, and after battling so hard, she lost her battle today.
I will always love you my sweet angel. RIP my girl

Hubba Bubba

My first mom was diagnosed with bone cancer. She was trying to sell us, but there was 3 of us left. Our first mom was in and out of the hospital too much. She decided to reach out to Stars Piggly Wigglys Sanctuary. They talked for about 4 days and they agreed on letting us go as rescues. Our one brother Snickers had a home to go to but they backed out the night before us leaving to our new home at the sanctuary. Faith at the sanctuary agreed to take him as well. Fortunately, she had a home for him. So about 2 weeks after we came to the sanctuary we got neutered. So far only Hubba Bubba likes to be touched. (we are very unsure) Thumper will come for snacks and sits pretty for them. Here at the sanctuary, where you are going to be loved forever

Freddie

I had received a call about a baby lamb that was in need of help he had been rejected by his mother who refused to take care of him. I took him home with me at two days old he was very weak, I fed him kept him warm trying to nurse him back to health, but sadly didn't make it. During Freddie's time with me he received more love, attention, and care from me than he ever received from his mother though his time with us was short he impacted our lives greatly. He would have been four years old as of April 7, 2020.

May 25, 2012, to Dec 7, 2012

I got her from a farm in Kamloops she was 4 months completely unhandled and unsure of people. Todd had to chase her around the barn to catch her. We brought her home bathed her. Then she cuddled with me and she ate right out of my hand such a sweet girl. In December she went in for surgery to attach her colon to her anus which her condition is called Atresia Ani - (No Anus or No Rectum) The piglet is born with no anus externally because it has developed a blind end to its rectum 5-10 mm from the exterior, inside the pelvis. The incidence in the mature herd is usually less than 0.5% but it can be much higher in newly established gilt herds. The condition is heritable but of low penetrance. In a problem, herd records will indicate whether there is an incriminating boar involved. The condition is self-limiting in that death invariably ensues. It is not worth attempting surgical repair because the artificial opening closes again.

Forever in our heart's and minds, she will be missed
